2027: Timed to the Fairs
The AWE Edition · The Canton Fair Editions · waitlists open
Timed to the fairs. Built on verified access.
The AWE Edition — Beijing + Shanghai · 10 days · $2,985. Starts the Monday ten days before AWE’s Thursday opening (provisionally March 1–10, 2027), with two all-metro days — the world’s largest network in Shanghai and one of Earth’s two largest in Beijing — and ends in Shanghai the day before the doors open, twenty minutes from the show floor: Xiaomi’s EV factory, the humanoid-robot dealership, the low-season Forbidden City, a weekday-empty Great Wall, the 350 km/h flagship rail, Shanghai’s AI district, the world’s largest astronomy museum. Fly in for the fair; see the country that builds the products first. (Final dates follow the organizer’s announcement; waitlist hears first.)

The Canton Fair Editions — Pearl River Delta, April 20–30 and October 20–30, 2027. First the fair, then the field trip: attend Phase 1 (electronics, April 15–19 / October 15–19) on your own badge, then join us the day it ends for the mainland tour of the delta that builds what you just sourced — XPeng’s factory, BYD’s HQ, robotaxis, Huaqiangbei with a fixer, EHang’s vertiport, Zhuhai’s space coast. Spring ends April 30, cleanly ahead of the May Day holiday wave.

The Late-2027 Safari Season — five adjacent legs, one epic
Book any leg — or chain them. Adjacent-leg discounts: two legs 5% · three 10% · four 15% · all five 20% (applies to these five only):
1 · Shanghai Week — November 21–27, 2027 · $1,985. The AI district, the world’s largest astronomy museum, Xiaomi’s EV flagship, the supertall — and Thanksgiving dinner on the Bund (November 25).
2 · Beijing Week — November 28 – December 4, 2027 · $1,985. In on the 350 km/h flagship rail; the Yizhuang robot day (humanoid dealership + Xiaomi’s factory), the ¥40-season Forbidden City, a winter-quiet Great Wall.
3 · The SETI & Space Expedition — December 5–18, 2027 · $3,985. Beijing’s observatories and aviation caverns, then either rocket-launch viewing at Wenchang, Hainan or the FAST 500-meter dish in Guizhou — the world’s premier SETI telescope — decided shortly before departure to maximize launch-viewing odds; ending in Shanghai with the 1900 Sheshan observatory and the Yuanwang-1 tracking ship. Total-electronics ban at FAST (we bring the film camera).
4 · Taiwan Tech Tour — December 19–23, 2027 · $1,985. TSMC’s Museum of Innovation beside Fab 12A (English docent tours), Hsinchu Science Park, Taipei 101’s 660-tonne damper, Syntrend + Guanghua. Visa-free for US citizens.
Rest days December 24–26 — we’ll help book your hotel; no tours (by design).
5 · Winter Pearl River Delta — December 27, 2027 – January 8, 2028. The flagship: Hong Kong → Shenzhen → Guangzhou → Zhuhai → Macau across the HZMB — the routing where most US travelers need no Chinese visa. Full route template on the Itinerary page.
Legs 1–3 and 5’s mainland segments require the $140 L visa (leg 5’s Hong Kong routing mostly doesn’t — see FAQ); Taiwan is visa-free. Standard duration pricing: $1,985 one week · $2,985 a week and a half (the AWE Edition) · $3,985 two weeks (the winter Pearl River Delta); the SETI & Space Expedition is separately set at $3,985.
Fair add-ons, priced separately
Fair-floor guide/translation days ($165 shared · $345 private) · badge/registration assistance ($75) · fair-week hotel blocks (rate + 18%). Straight talk: these mainland routings require a Chinese visa ($140 L, or M with fair invitation — we guide you; fair paperwork actually helps).
Pricing announced to the waitlist first, with first claim on seats.
