The AWE Edition

Nose of a Fuxing CR400 high-speed train

The AWE (the “CES of China”) Edition

Beijing + Shanghai · 10 days · ends at AWE’s door · $2,985

Starts the Monday ten days before AWE’s Thursday opening (provisionally March 1–10, 2027) and ends in Shanghai the day before the doors open, twenty minutes from SNIEC. Xiaomi’s EV factory, the humanoid-robot dealership, the ¥40-season Forbidden City, a weekday-empty Great Wall, the 350 km/h flagship rail, Shanghai’s AI district and the world’s largest astronomy museum — then you walk the fair floor having seen the production side first.

Two days on the world’s biggest subway maps — on purpose

One Beijing day and one Shanghai day run entirely by metro: the world’s largest network in Shanghai, one of Earth’s two largest in Beijing. In these cities the subway is itself the exhibit — headways, throughput, and payment tech no US system approaches.

$2,985 land-only · $500 deposit · L visa required ($140) · fair add-ons: floor guide/translation days, badge assist, fair-week hotel block.
